With Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers, you can: 1. Scan incoming and outgoing mail as well as messages stored on a Microsoft Exchange server (including in public folders) for malicious objects. 2. Filter unsolicited mail (spam) from mail traffic. 3. Use a cloud-based reputation service called Reputation Filtering for additional anti-spam scanning of messages. It moves messages to a special temporary storage called Quarantine and assigns them a status label after rescanning them. 4. Scan mail traffic for phishing messages. 5. Save backup copies of detected objects and spam messages before disinfection or removal in order to prevent loss of data, and manage a shared backup storage centrally. 6. Notify the sender, the recipient and the system administrator about messages that contain malicious objects. 7. Maintain event logs, collect statistics, and generate regular application activity reports. The application can generate reports automatically according to schedule, or on demand. 8. Configure the message scan settings according to the corporate security policy, in particular by compiling black and white lists of senders and recipients. 9. Keep Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam databases up to date by means of automatic and manual updates. 10. Manage anti-virus protection on the storage level and create a list of protected storages. 11. Centrally manage identical settings for a group of Microsoft Exchange servers by means of profiles. 12. Manage server licenses and centrally manage licenses for a group of Microsoft Exchange servers by means of profiles. What's new in version 8.3.325.0 (Maintenance Pack 2) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * You can now centrally manage identical settings for a group of Microsoft Exchange servers from Administration Console by means of profiles, which includes centralized reporting features and a centralized backup storage. * A new Anti-Virus kernel has been integrated to improve the quality of scanning for malicious objects. * The Anti-Spam kernel has been updated. * You now have the option of using Reputation Filtering — an additional anti-spam scanning service that increases the accuracy of spam detection and reduces the probability of Anti-Spam false positives. * A solution that recognizes errors on the side of Microsoft Exchange has been added to improve the level of Anti-Spam detections. * Email traffic is now scanned for phishing links to protect user data against theft. * The application GUI has received a facelift, with improved convenience of settings and user friendliness. * The GUI of the report generation feature has been improved.
