- (156870) We have fixed a bug that made it possible to
remove Kaspersky Endpoint Security bypassing password protection.
- (156907) The content of information about the
"Threat detected" event has been synchronized between the local
report of Kaspersky Endpoint Security and the Kaspersky Security Center
report.
- (164919) We have fixed a bug that caused an old date
of the database update to be shown when the mouse pointer was placed over
the application icon in the Microsoft Windows taskbar notification area.
- (174302) We have fixed a bug affecting the display of
the name of the direction of monitored network activity for network packet
rules in the Firewall settings window.
- (177227) We have fixed a bug affecting the logging of
Kaspersky Endpoint Security events in the Windows log when
Kaspersky Endpoint Security was installed as an upgrade of
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows MP4.
- (180635) We have fixed a bug affecting the logging of
information about an action taken on a detected malicious file in the
Kaspersky Security Center report.

fixed a bug affecting the saving of the contents of the "Vendor"
field in the properties of an application added to the list of trusted
applications in the plug-in of Administration Console of Kaspersky
Security Center.
- (184884) We have fixed a bug affecting the launch of
Kaspersky Endpoint Security from the properties of a host in
Administration Console of Kaspersky Security Center.

fixed a bug that caused the "There are unprocessed objects"
status of the host to be constantly displayed in Administration Console of
Kaspersky Security Center after phishing links were detected on this host.

We have fixed a bug that corrupted emails after scanning with Mail
Anti-Virus.

fixed a bug affecting the operation of scan exclusion rules applied to
applications when the path to their executable files has been specified
using environment variables.

We have fixed a bug affecting the transmission of emails from Microsoft
Outlook with the Google Apps Sync plug-in for Microsoft Outlook installed
and Mail Anti-Virus scanning of outgoing emails enabled.

fixed a bug that caused a copy of an infected file not to be moved to
Backup when the user rejected the prompt to perform Advanced Disinfection.

We have fixed a bug affecting the compatibility of the Mail Anti-Virus
plug-in for Microsoft Outlook with plug-ins of other vendors.

fixed a bug that made it impossible to manage the application via
Kaspersky Security Center if the application was installed using an
installation package that had the "Remove incompatible applications
automatically" check box selected in its properties.

fixed a bug that caused incorrect interpretation of ranges of IP addresses
entered according to the standard proposed in RFC 4632.

fixed a bug that caused Kaspersky Security Center to show a wrong date of
the last database update on computers with Kaspersky Endpoint Security
installed.

fixed a bug that caused the computer to hang up due to long interpretation
of UNC paths that are used in Trusted Zone rules.

fixed a bug that caused the path to the destination folder for saving
updates not to be saved in the update task settings in
Kaspersky Security Center if this path was selected using the
"Browse" button.

fixed a bug that caused devices to be added incorrectly to the list of
trusted devices from the "Add trusted devices" window.
- (193859) We have fixed a bug that caused incorrect
logging of the "Network activity allowed" and "Network
activity blocked" events in the Windows event log and the Kaspersky Security Center
event log.

We have fixed a bug affecting the initialization of
Kaspersky Endpoint Security after its remote installation using
a Kaspersky Security Center task.
- (194017) We have fixed a bug involving incorrect
operation of the update task when a proxy server with automatically
determined settings was used.
- (194030) We have fixed a bug affecting the detection
of infected objects using KSN when a Kaspersky Security Center policy was
applied to the computer.
- (194527) We have fixed a bug that blocked access to
web resources requested by the application POPO Reader.

We have fixed the incompatibility of Kaspersky Endpoint Security
with the application TROLL. Now
TROLL works normally with Kaspersky Endpoint Security
installed.
- (201416) We have fixed a bug involving incorrect operation of the
schedule of the critical areas scan task.

Kaspersky Endpoint
Security no longer crashes when
certain USB devices are connected to the computer.

causing Kaspersky Endpoint Security to crash.
CHANGES:

is now possible to display the scan task progress window when the task is
launched from the context menu of Microsoft Explorer and the Kaspersky Security
Center policy prohibits showing the local interface of the application.

disable the notification "Previous application startup failed".

(216478) Email notifications about Kaspersky Endpoint Security events do not work if the user
name and password are specified in the email notification delivery settings, but
the SMTP server used for delivering notifications does not require
authorization.

ISSUES:

The following non-public patches have
not been included in the release of
Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows CF2: PF18, PF46, PF49,
PF55, PF58, PF59, PF62, PF63, PF65, PF66, PF71, PF72, PF74, PF83. The patches will be re-released after the release of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8
for Windows CF2. Please contact the support service if you
need these patches.

The event "Quit
and reopen the application to complete updating" is not logged in reports
after downloading updates that require restarting the service part of the
product. In this case, product status changes to "It is required to quit
and restart KES".
·
(216946) The Web
Control component does not block streaming video when it is transmitted via
certain protocols.
